WooHoo.......I am so excited.  I bought my ticket today for February 13 to April 3, 2013.

I have been in constant contact with an agent in Delhi for the last few months and we have a tentative itinerary worked out.  It is flexible because I want this to be more like an old fashioned road trip.  I have booked my car and driver, but no hotels.  We will decide where to stay when we get there (just like it was when Mom and Dad took us on our road trips many years ago). There will be some places that will be better than others, but I do not want to be tied to an itinerary carved in stone.  I am happy and confident in my agent in Delhi and the driver he has assigned to me (read about him on another blog).

Ok, ticket bought and now the next big hurdle, the visa.  I must wait before I even apply.  After I have that visa in my passport I will truly feel that I am on my way.
