Camels are of prime importance here in Rajasthan. At the centre I learned that the two main camels bred are the lorry or working camel, and the safari camel. Here in the Mandawa and Bikaner area camels are referred to as lorries. They are everywhere and they work hard hauling people, goods, feed etc.
