#6 In the ante buildin.

#7 The first glimpse of the Taj.

#8 Directly outside the ante building and the first full on view. It was a delightful sunny early morning.

#10 View from the end of the pool walkway.

#9 Down a few stairs and the walkway beside the reflecting pool.

#11 Back up at the top. You can see that there are many more Indian tourists than others.

#12 Lakhu tells me this is a holy man.

#1 rickshaw ride to the Taj

#2 Waiting while the rickshaw man went to the booking office to buy my ticket.

#3 The long queue to secutiry.
Hello again. There is no wifi in my hotel, but an interent cafe two doors down. Internet cafe is a bit of a loose term for this place. It is a small cement cubby about 5ft x 7ft with a garage type door and there is a cow sitting almost beside me.
Yesterday Lakhu arranged for a cycle rickshaw to take me the few blocks to the Taj Mahal. Drivers are not allowed in.
It is a truly awesome structure made even more so by the way it is revealed little by little until finally you see her in all her glory.........like an enticing dance.
Darn, these photos are not posted in the correct order so I will number them.
