Another gruelling travel day to some village near Lucknow, India, the home of his sister.

WOW......they live in a real haveli built in 1902.  It was left to the brother-in-law's grandfather when the owner died.  Grandfather was a worker there. Now Lakhu's sister, husband and daughter ( Happi ) live there.  The two sons are away at university studying mechanical and electrical engineering.  Happi finished high school in the village and did her B.A. from home (no internet). She is awaiting her acceptance for her B.Ed (late March).  Grandmother also still lives there.

We spent one night there sleeping out on the verandah under the stars.  A wonderful night that no amount of money could buy.
