Sentry posts on top of the hills on the other side.  

Lakhu really has a sense of humour.  His second stop was the Amer Fort.  Yes that's it WAY up there and it was going to be a long walk.  Earlier in the day one can go up on an elephant, but I had said that I didn't want to because I had read that the animals were not well treated and didn't wish to contribute to their suffering.  So, the only way up was on foot.  See the photo of the elephants going home after a hard day's work.

Wait, I was not the only one chosing not to walk up.  There was a busload who just got out to take some photos.

We had already planned to come back for the sound and light show at 7pm, so I decided some retail therapy was in order.
