Lakhu's two sons and a cousin, peering in my room in the morning.
This lady had put on red lipstick, so I named her Madame Lipstick and it took.
This woman kept aside during the festival dancing and music.  When I asked Lakhu why, he said that she was of a lower caste!!!!!!!

The waving farewell when we left the village........tears.

Lakhu, happy to be home.

Flower petals and holy water outside my room for blessings and good luck.

Today was one I was waiting for.  Lakhu had asked me if I wanted to go to stay with his family in their village.......YES, please.  The drive was an easy two hours down the mountains.

The village is small, sparkling clean, on an excellent road and the people were all awaiting my visit.

Lakhu's mother, wife, and two sons made me welcome immediately.

His nephew took me on a village walk and along the way Lakhu and friends joined us.  At every step of the way I was asked to take photos.  These are some of them.
