About 2km from the hotel there were suddenly hundreds of monkeys on the side of the road sitting and watching passing vehicles. I made the mistake of asking Lakhu to stop for photos. Well, in a flash one was on the windshield and another on my side of the car at the window. Fortunately, I was fast enough to get the window rolled up (it was only half down), but not fast enough to get good photos. Also Lakhu was anxious to get out of there because a few months ago in the same area a monkey broke a side mirror and the window glass.
I did not ask him to stop again, although I would have loved to. Those photos would have been great.
Lakhu just told me that these monkeys are the bad ones. In other places the monkeys are less agressive. These "forest monkeys" are scary.
haha, i had same kind of situation once, once i stopped at the middle of road and suddenly monkey's were all over my car for one damn banana.... oops.. yeah he is right there are places where monkey's are friendly just don't show them any kind of food
